Day 1: ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Arrive at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet & greet by a Saafo representative and transferred to your city hotel.

Overnight at PANARI HOTEL (Bed & Breakfast)

Day 2: NAIROBI / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and check-out, drive down the Great Rift Valley floor to Lake Naivasha.
Enjoy a boat ride followed by lunch at Lake Naivasha Country Club
Later drive to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for an afternoon game drive
The park houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. Also of interest is an area fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes. Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Other game includes Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat.

Day 3: LAKE NAKURU / AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park, home to big herds of elephant and with the snowy peaks on Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background.
Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant
Proceed drive to Amboseli National Park

Dinner and overnight at AA LODGE AMBOSELI (Full Board)

Day 4: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Spend a further day in the park on full day game viewing drives. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon. Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. The bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. Visitors can also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Meru.

Day 5: AMBOSELI / TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and check-out, drive to Tsavo West National Park, known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe. Transfer to the lodge with a game viewing drive en route to arrive in time for lunch.
Depart later in the afternoon for a game drive until sunset.

Day 6: TSAVO WEST / TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy an early morning game drive. Breakfast at the camp.
Drive to Tsavo East National Park. Lunch at Voi Wildlife Lodge.
Afternoon game viewing drive Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s largest game reserves, providing undeveloped wilderness homes to vast numbers of animals. A comprehensive list of the animal types found in Tsavo East Park includes the great herds of elephant, antelope, hippos, black rhino, buffalo, lions and giraffe plus a host of birdlife. It is an ideal place for exclusive camping, game circuits and adventures and is the greatest of all Kenya’s parks. The middle section of the park has many rock and cave paintings.flow, the Yatta Plateau.

Day 7: TSAVO EAST / MOMBASA 

Breakfast at the lodge.

Morning drive to Mombasa where you will be dropped off at your hotel
